YOGA in COMMON in Myrtle Beach, SC has been a premier location since 2009. We are nestled in The Market Common shopping district which is just a half mile from the Atlantic Ocean and beachfront hotels. Inside, we have two yoga studios with beautiful bamboo flooring and a large Boutique. The Tique features unique gifts, handmade jewelry, and artwork by local artists as well as incense, candles, yoga gear, and clothing.
Yoga students tell us that the feeling of peace and calm begins as soon as you walk through the door and continues throughout the practice. Our studio serves students of all practice levels from those having a first time experience to those who practice daily. We offer a wide variety of classes including vinyasa flow, power flow, basic hatha, gentle yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga as well as meditation and tai chi opportunities.
Each year, YOGA in COMMON hosts Yoga Teacher Trainings. We offer International Yoga Alliance-certified 200 Hour and 300 hour levels of Yoga Teacher Training. Whether you decide to teach yoga or not, our graduates tell us that the experience of attending a Yoga Teacher Training is deeply life-enhancing and transformative, fully worth the time and energy you invest into it.
At YOGA in COMMON, we regularly host Events that add to your experience of relaxation, healing, centering, and aligning. Events such as a Yin-Reiki session with Reiki practitioners giving gentle touch as the yoga teacher leads the Yin yoga class. Sound Healing sessions where you lie back and relax as crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, native American flutes, and many other instruments are played all around you to shift and clear energy. Yoga Nidra sessions that lead you into a deep yogic sleep that refreshes you as much as six hours of sleep. Partner yoga classes in which you share poses with someone you brought to class for lots of stretching and laughing! The list goes on as we feature special Events every month of the year.
